Just a reminder that our monthly leader/committee meeting is tonight. Leader meeting is from 7pm-8pm we will be meeting at 765 E St. and the committee meeting will be immediately following starting at 8pm. All parents are welcomed to join us for the committee meeting we are ALWAYS asking for more parental help! The den and pack rely on parent participation to run a successful program. The cub scout program operates through volunteer leadership. Consider volunteering as a member of the pack leadership team or as a parent helper. Volunteer leaders are an example of Scouting’s principle of service to others.

Don’t forget the 2010 Annual Raingutter Regatta is tomorrow Saturday September 18th at 2pm at in-town park. Please join us at noon for the BBQ festivites prior to the race.
Den assignments for the BBQ is as follows;
Den’s 1 & 5 hot dishes, Den’s 2 & 9 cold dishes, Den’s 4 & 8 Desserts
Tables/seating is limited so please remember to bring chairs and or blankets. We will also be holding a registration/recruitment at the same time so make sure to bring your friends!
Please join us at our annual Raingutter Regatta/BBQ this Saturday September 18th at In-town park. The BBQ will begin at noon. In addition to the Regatta we will also be holding a Recruitment/Registration. ALL boys who registers Saturday will be given a regatta boat to build and will be eligible to join in the race on Saturday beginning at 2pm. Please remember to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. The 2011 Pinewood Derby will be held Saturday January 29th. Please arrive and check in at 9am and the race will begin at 10am. Please note that this year the Test ‘n’ Tune will be held Friday January 28th from 6-9pm at Cottonwood Elementary. You must register your car by 9pm or you will NOT be eligible to race the next day. Once cars are officially registered they will not be allowed to take home to modify any further. If you have any further questions please contact your den leader and or the cubmaster.
The 2011 Fernley Cup will immediately follow the Pinewood Derby. We invite all fellow cub scouts, girl scouts, siblings and even parents to join in the race. Registration information will we announed at a later date.
