Fernley Scouts

It’s that time of year again. We changed a couple of things for this year. We will be expanding our area to include Fallon this year. Also we will be having prizes for Most Original, Funniest, Most Colorful, & Best of Show. ALL SCOUTS are invited to attend, this includes Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, Daisy’s, Brownies, and Girl Scouts.

The cost is $10 per scout, this will include the official BSA Pinewood Derby Kit. There will be no discounts if you already have a car (just think of it as a head start for next year) We will be holding a test and tune night the Friday evening before the race. We will have the tracks set up, the official race scale, and volunteers to help “tweak” your cars. We will also have weights and graphite for sale if you need it. Also on race day there will be hot dogs, soda, chips, popcorn, candy, and water for sale at the concession stand. Everything will be $1.

If you have not returned popcorn forms and money you must do it today. Phone your Den Leader or the Cubmaster and let them know!

You need to return your popcorn money and forms to your den leaders this week. Last chance to get any rewards you want!

You only have a few weeks left before all the money and order forms need to be completed and handed in to your Den Leaders.

Don’t forget that to get the following rewards you need to sell the following amounts:
200 No dues to be paid
300 Registration fees paid
900 Annual trip paid for - sleeping with the sharks
1500 Adventure camp paid for
